Magnetic Pulsers - PEMF - Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Frequency
PEMF is an abbreviation for Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Frequency. It has been found that certain frequencies stimulate certain responses in some human, animal and even plant tissues. The cells of the tissues are stimulated in a similar way to how exercise might affect the cells. PEMF is currently being scientifically researched and is even being used in medical and hospital practice.
Human bodies operate electromagnetically. Electrical charges of approximately 0.2 volt are transmitted from the brain along nerve cells within the body. In conditions of illness, it is suggested that the electro-magnetic energy passed along the nerve cells to the body's tissues and cells. Restoring electro-magnetic energy might well be the reason why PEMF is being researched currently.
The energy that the body needs to function is used in various ways which is why the effects of PEMF are also varied in the individuals. It is not said that everyone who uses PEMF should expect the same responses. While humans have certain common elements, they are still quite different genetically and that can cause some people to respond differently to others. Also different people have different intake of nutrients which impact how the body can respond. Some people have allergies or food intolerances or have difficulty detoxing certain chemicals which cause them particular health challenges. It is not suggested that PEMF can 'fix' these conditions. It is suggested however that PEMF might well raise the energy of the cells so that the body might use the energy to function more optimally.
Some of the areas of the body that might be impacted by PEMF are:

Some of the areas of the body that might be impacted by PEMF are:
- recovery from injury
- reduction of inflammation and thus pain and perception of pain;
- increased circulation
- less time for recovery after exercise
- better sleep through increased relaxation

Klemens Pulsers have not been tested or patented as our small family company does not have the funds to invest the many thousands of dollars required for testing, however our machines consistently receive positive feedback from our customers. The research articles linked on this website provide general PEMF studies, but these studies did NOT involve Klemens Pulsers PEMF machines. We make no medical, veterinary or therapeutic claims for the Klemens pulsers or other equipment sold by Klemens Pulsers or its subsidiaries. Use of our units is only for the customer's personal educational and research purposes.

"PEMF therapy is a non-invasive treatment that applies intermittent, current pulse-generated magnetic field pulses over a short time frame Δt to living tissue, using a pulse repetition frequency f. An additional electrical current is subsequently induced in conductive materials, leading to a secondary effect of PEMF in tissue. Due to the short pulse duration and the typically low application pulse repetition frequency, the magnetic field is activated only for a fraction of the therapy time. For the generation of the pulses, different waveform shapes are used with PEMF, ranging from rectangular and triangle to sinusoidal, thus including a range of harmonic field frequencies. The therapeutic exposure times may vary from a few minutes up to several hours."
